In order to recognize the contributions and services of environmental volunteers to the city, the Environmental Protection Bureau will issue honorary badges based on the number of volunteer service hours to reward meritorious volunteers for their contributions to environmental protection, promote and motivate the work morale of volunteers, and encourage the public to participate in environmental protection work.
Environmental volunteers in this city who have accumulated service hours of 500 hours, 1,000 hours, and 1,250 hours or more will be awarded a bronze, silver, or gold honorary badge and a certificate for the Kaohsiung City Environmental Volunteer, respectively.
Honor badge service performance calculation: Service years and time calculation is from January 22, 2001 to May 31, 2014.
Submission date: After completing the application form, each environmental volunteer should submit it to the Environmental Protection Team for compilation before 5:00 p.m. on July 31. Each environmental protection team is requested to submit it to the Environmental Protection Bureau before 5:00 p.m. on August 29.
