【✨The 113th Annual Honorary Environmental Protection Volunteer Recognition Ceremony Concluded Successfully✨】

In response to the United Nations' decision in 1985 to designate December 5th of each year as "💖International Volunteer Day", the Kaohsiung City Environmental Protection Bureau🏢 held a grand environmental protection volunteer honor recognition ceremony🎊 on December 7, 2014 (Saturday) to thank💖 and recognize👍 the environmental protection volunteers🙋🙋‍♂️ who have made outstanding contributions to the cleanliness🧹 and environmental protection of Kaohsiung City.

More than 350 volunteers participated in the ceremony. The atmosphere was grand and warm, demonstrating the selfless dedication of every volunteer to environmental protection. Deputy Director of the Environmental Protection Bureau, Gao Zongyong, attended the event and presented awards including the ✨"Environmental Protection Volunteer Team Excellence Award", ✨"Environmental Protection Volunteer Team Evaluation Excellence Award", ✨"Environmental Protection Volunteer Squadron Evaluation Excellence Award", ✨"Environmental Protection Volunteer Service Honor Badge Gold Award"✨, and "Outstanding Environmental Protection Volunteer" to commend 🏅159 outstanding volunteers. The award recipients include individuals and teams who have demonstrated a high sense of responsibility and dedication in daily cleaning 🚮, environmental education 🧑‍🏫, and promoting environmental protection activities ♻️.

It is worth mentioning that the Environmental Protection Bureau issued awards such as the "Environmental Protection Volunteer Service Honor Badge Gold Award" and the "Outstanding Environmental Protection Volunteer" to recognize the volunteers' long-term persistence and enthusiasm for environmental protection. These awards are not only a recognition of their efforts, but also hope to encourage more citizens to engage in volunteer services and join the ranks of environmental protection actions.
