To strengthen the environmental knowledge and initiative of environmental volunteers, the Kaohsiung City Government's Environmental Protection Bureau held the "114th Annual Environmental Volunteer Team Leader Development Camp" today (July 31st). This event brought together leaders from 42 volunteer teams in Kaohsiung City for an engaging and educational learning journey.

First, we visited the Wushantou Reservoir Environmental Education Park. Through the guide's vivid explanations, we learned about the history of the Jianan Canal and the vision and dedication of Engineer Yoichi Hatta. Water conservancy projects are more than just engineering projects; they connect people's livelihoods with sustainable development. This provided volunteers with a renewed appreciation for the significance of environmental work. In the afternoon, we headed to the Hongwei Tourist Factory 🏭, where we rethink the relationship between the environment and our lives from the perspective of the health industry 💡. Environmental protection isn't just about cleaning up the mountains and beaches 🚮; it can also be integrated with industrial innovation to create a better life 👍. Technology, health, and sustainability intersect here, inspiring volunteers to embrace a wider range of advocacy ideas 🌈.

During the ride 🚌, environmental education videos were interspersed, making travel a form of reflection and absorption. The journey was filled with laughter and joy 👫 as volunteers shared experiences, encouraged each other, and found strength in their community 💪.
