I. Objectives of the Activity

1. To select outstanding young volunteers and organizations that promote youth volunteer service, establishing role models for youth participation in volunteer service.

2. Through recognition and commendation, to support and encourage young volunteers to develop diverse and innovative service programs, continue their service participation, and promote the sustainable development of youth volunteer service groups.

3. To organize domestic and international visits and exchange activities, promoting the sharing of diverse and creative service concepts among young volunteers, disseminating the learning outcomes of youth volunteer service and exchange, and encouraging more young people to join the ranks of volunteer service. III. Youth Volunteer Team Competition

I. Application Qualifications:

(a) Team members must be young people aged 15 to 35 (for example, in the 2023 competition, this means born between January 1, 1980 and December 31, 2000; this applies to each year as well), and each team must have at least 6 members.

(b) During the application year, the team must have engaged in volunteer service activities in areas such as education, environment, technology, health, culture, and community within Taiwan.

II. Competition Categories:

The competition is divided into: High School/Vocational School Group and College/University/College/Social Youth Group. (I) Senior High School/Vocational School Group: Team members must be students aged 15 or older but under 18 (including those without formal student status).

(II) College/University and Community Youth Group: Teams must be college/university students aged 18 or older, or community youth.

(III) For mixed-type teams, the majority of team members will be used to determine the group affiliation. (IV) Each team may only register for one group. If a team is found to be ineligible for a particular group, the agency will adjust the competition group or disqualify the team.

III. Registration Method: Please upload the required application documents to the project registration system (https://youthvolunteer.yda.gov.tw/) before the registration deadline. Late submissions will not be accepted. Supporting documents may be required as requested by the agency.
