To enable volunteers to learn and grow while protecting the environment, the Kaohsiung City Environmental Protection Bureau organized a "Coastal Patrol Environmental Volunteer Learning and Growth Camp," with 40 volunteers enthusiastically participating. After gathering in the morning, everyone watched environmental education videos during the drive, relaxing and warming up for the exciting activities to come.

The first stop was the Taiwan Sugar Corporation's Donghaifeng Agricultural Circular Park. Through the "Decoding the Circular Pig Farm" course, volunteers gained a deeper understanding of biogas renewable energy and the mysteries of agricultural circularity. During lunch, the volunteers enthusiastically exchanged experiences, deepening their friendships through interactive sharing.

In the afternoon, they visited "Puzuo Good Food – Zhulin Organic Farm" 🧑‍🌾 to participate in the "Basil Makes a Difference" 🌱 course, experiencing firsthand the value of organic agriculture 👍 and making pesto and red tortoise cakes by hand 🙌. Through the joy of hands-on cooking 🥘, everyone gained a deeper understanding of the close connection between food culture 🥣 and environmental sustainability 🌿.

This growth camp 🚩 not only provided volunteers with professional knowledge 💡 and practical experience 🙌, but also strengthened their resolve to protect the environment 💪. The volunteer partners expressed 🎉 that they will bring the sustainability concepts they learned back to their daily lives and patrol 🙋‍♂️🙋 actions, continuing to protect 💖 our green home 🏡.
