"The sun is blazing!" As the weather gets hotter and hotter☀️, are you worried that stagnant water💦 in the environment might breed dengue fever? Don't worry! Kaohsiung City's environmental volunteers are here to help!💪 Currently, the Kaohsiung City Environmental Protection Bureau🏢 has established 674 volunteer teams🚩, gathering nearly 26,000 enthusiastic volunteers🙋🙋‍♂️, who regularly assist in✅draining stagnant water from basements,✅disinfecting, and✅preventing dengue fever outbreaks. Last year, several typhoons caused environmental pollution, but through rapid mobilization and cleanup, not only was our beautiful home protected, but we also demonstrated a strong team spirit! Our volunteer partners came from all walks of life and all age groups, and their hard work was evident in everything from community cleaning and street patrols to land, coastal and river environmental protection, and even the maintenance and promotion of resource recycling. Regardless of scorching sun or rain, they persevere tirelessly to make the city cleaner, more beautiful, and more comfortable! The Environmental Protection Bureau also reminds everyone that environmental protection is not only the responsibility of the government and volunteers, but also requires the participation of all citizens.
