Today (January 6), the Kaohsiung Environmental Protection Bureau held the “2025 Kaohsiung Environmental Education Awards and Honorary Eco-Volunteer Recognition Ceremony” at the Grand Hi-Lai Hotel. The event was hosted by Deputy Director Huang Shih-Hung, who presented the 10th Kaohsiung Environmental Education Awards and honored a group of dedicated eco-volunteers for their long-term commitment to environmental protection. The ceremony highlighted the city’s ongoing efforts in environmental education and sustainability.

🏆 Top Honors:

• Ms. Li O-ling
  Founded the T-Shirt Handmade Studio in Fengshan District, creatively combining environmental protection with innovation. She promotes the reuse of defective clothing and offers ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) courses, attracting over 20,000 participants and encouraging sustainable fashion in schools.

• Kaohsiung Veterans General Hospital (KSVGH)
  For two consecutive years, KSVGH has ranked among the top in international smart hospital evaluations. The hospital emphasizes green healthcare and sustainable management as its core development strategies.

• Hsin-Kang Community Development Association, Yong’an District
  Actively promotes rural regeneration and fish-eating education, and was recognized by the Ministry of Agriculture with the National Contribution Award in Food and Agriculture Education.

• Kaohsiung Tree-Planting Association
  The association has long dedicated itself to combining environmental education with corporate social responsibility (CSR), steadily building a sustainable urban green network.
