This is handled in accordance with the Ministry of Health and Welfare’s letter No. 1111360584 dated March 18, 2012.

The resolution amends Item 1 of Point 3 of the "Guidelines for Applying for Volunteer Service Honor Cards" and the attached instructions for notes on the honor card, changing the original 3-year validity period of the Volunteer Service Honor Card, which requires reapplication by submitting relevant documents "after expiration", to a period of "one month before expiration" during which reapplication can be made.

The Ministry of Health and Welfare revised the third point of the "Guidelines for Applying for Volunteer Service Honor Cards":

The validity period of the Volunteer Service Honor Card is three years. One month before the expiration date, volunteers may submit the relevant documents mentioned above to reapply.
If a volunteer reapplies for a Volunteer Service Honor Card in accordance with the preceding paragraph, his/her service years and service hours shall not be counted twice.
