According to the letters issued by the Social Affairs Bureau dated March 16, 2026 (Kaohsiung City Government Document No. 11501389100) and the Ministry of Health and Welfare dated March 11, 2026 (MOHW Document No. 1151360883), as well as Article 2 of the Regulations on Volunteer Service Awards:

Volunteers eligible for awards under these Regulations are those who have participated in volunteer service, accumulated at least 3,000 service hours, and hold a Certificate of Volunteer Service Performance.

Pursuant to Article 5 of the same Regulations, volunteers who have accumulated 3,000, 5,000, and 8,000 service hours, and hold the aforementioned certificate, may apply for the Volunteer Service Merit Awards, namely the Bronze, Silver, and Gold Medals, along with certificates of recognition.

For this (2026) year, the calculation period for volunteer service hours is from January 22, 2001 to April 30, 2026. Please clearly specify the start and end dates (year, month, and day) of service.

To simplify administrative procedures and enhance public convenience, and to fully implement the online application system for volunteer service awards in 2026, the application process is as follows:

• The online application procedure is detailed in Appendix 1.
• The operation guide for service-utilizing organizations is provided in Appendix 2.
• The operation guide for competent authorities is provided in Appendix 3.
• Review guidelines are provided in Appendix 4.
• The format for the Certificate of Volunteer Service Performance is provided in Appendix 5.
• The Award Achievement Form (portrait format) is provided in Appendix 6.
• The electronic file for the application roster is provided in Appendix 7.

All Environmental Protection Volunteer Corps are requested to notify and assist their respective volunteer teams in completing the application. Please ensure that all information is accurately filled in through the online system and that volunteer data is verified. All online procedures must be completed by June 12, 2026.
